Wow, no doubt it's spring here -it's beautiful in your area! Love all these details Ruby. Especially that the farmer who put blankets on his horses:) Welcome back to All Seasons! Have a lovely spring week!
Such lovely spring shots! I'm so very relieved to see the "back side" of winter! Thanks for sharing at https://image-in-ing.blogspot.com/2018/04/saints-among-us-then-and-now.html
Oh you have blossom! I was amazed recently, going to LOndon then northern France to see how advanced spring is, compared to here, which is always behind even Edinburgh. Lovely long perspectives of the fields, especially the one with a tiny Arthur's Seat in the distance. Apparently, the astronomical exact quarter day (mid point between equinox and solstice) is Saturday, so all good wishes to you all on this turning point of the year M xx
Am back about your comment: yes, it does look somewhat like an orchid, but it is really an iris - it's a bearded iris - they have bigger blooms the the normal iris. Have a beautiful week, Ruby!
Dear Ruby - My heart feels stretching out to that spacious green, unplowed land, or road. Grazing three horses are lovely. It’s getting hotter but then again colder due to the capricious weather but I still remember the joy of the arrival of spring.

Now this is spring! Beautiful flowers, beautiful greenery, beautiful house. I'm a sucker for a horse in a jacket.

I'm starting to notice some pretty blossoms and buds like these, hurray Spring or rather summer since it's been and going to be 80˚ again.
