I made this sculpture some years ago while creating with a group of artists exploring myth and dreams. It is still untitled - any suggestions? |
It gives the illusion of being suspended in space! |
Cute little gull gliding on a golden mercurial sea. |

Beautiful nature photos and your sculpture is divinely created ~ name? Nature Woman?
Happy Week to you,
A ShutterBug Explores,
aka (A Creative Harbor)
I am at a loss to suggest a title, but it is a very creative piece.
The bird head, or the bird brain is evocative and has something regal:) the rest of your images are beautiful too! A belated happy New Year blog Friend!Thank you for sharing these experiences with All Seasons this week.
Ruby, I don't know if you intended it or not, but I would love to see your perma link in your comment to log onto the "Weekend Journal Page January 5" for this art project! (it has images of my knitting project). If you can't find it, please let me know.
I love the serene shots and what a great sculpture! You could call it Ideas take flight OR Reborn.
First picture - Human brain makes delicious bird feed :) The second picture looks like a camel resting in a pool of water. All amazing pictures ! Happy New Year 2018. Best Wishes
Such a great sculpture you made. It is too great work for me to make a suggestion though...my inspiration is just Soul.Beautiful scenery with your mosaic.
Happy new Year,Ruby.
Great sculpture. Forest lady? Beautiful sea and bird shots.
Hello, Happy New Year! Beautiful calm and reflective images. The colour in your sculpture shot is magnificent. "Thinking of you" is all I can come up with,...sorry, it's really not creative enough for your intriguing sculpture.
I like these photos, they all are beautiful. I find it difficult to choose a name for the head.
Beautiful photos on the water!
Thanks for joining us this week at https://image-in-ing.blogspot.com/2018/01/ill-never-be-cotton-farmer.html
"The dream of Morpheus" because your work in my interpretation has a dove (symbol of peace in the myth) that comes out of the head, it is Morpheus who dreams of bringing peace in the dreams of human beings.
Your shots are beautiful.
A hug and have a nice day!
..Ruby, what a collection of treasures! The gull and the collage are among my favorites. Thanks so much for Joining Tuesday's Treasures, enjoy your week.
A beautiful collection of images to provoke the imagination, the reflection of the gull on the water is my favourite. Not sure what to suggest as a name for your sculpture but it looks female to me.
Happy New Year and MM.
The meteorite has come at this moment to watch ourselves, will there be a war, don't let that be. Send back to their planet, watch out for the DT, TM, and others, they are dangerous. Ha ha ha, beautiful photos of the natures.
I'm thinking "bird brain" and it's a wonderful sculpture! What a talent you have!
lovely photos one and all
the one you are calling driftwood is beautifully lit
and looks much like a dragon to me
I really like it
your sculpture is wonderful too
Fascinating set of pictures! Happy New Year!
Meeting you and visiting your blog has been a pleasure!
I love your pictures
Love
I thought at first that the meteorite was falling through the air, and I wondered how you were able to snap it so steadily.
A title for your sculpture? The first thing that came to me was "Mindlessness", then I thought it ought to be positive, so came "Mindfulness". :-)
beautiful photographs! I liek the head with a bird on. :) And the reflectied young gull.
Lovely to see your goddess sculpture! Dreaming of Flight? The meteorite 'island' reminds me a little of my cat, relaxed in sleep and open-mouthed (though he doesn't sleep with his mouth open) but still, a sleeping creature. Great seagull on still water - so the theme seems to be reflection, birds and dreams/sleep?
M xx
I really love your sculpture. I think leaving it untitled makes it more mysterious and thus more alluring. Also, such lovely photos.
I'm in awe of your creativity as always. I love the colors on your sculpture ... and on the water. We once owned a piece that looked something like your 'meteor' (my kids found it on the beach in Oregon and were sure that was what it was .... not sure what happened to it in all our moves.)
