Bluebell Woods

Jackdaw in lichen covered Alder branches.

Photos taken at different times during May.

Bluebells and Pink Purslane.

Wood Violet

Our beautiful Maddy was fourteen a few weeks ago,
She has some health issues but thinks she's still a puppy and loves rolling in long grass.
Maddy is part Spaniel, Bearded Collie and Dandie Dinmont.

The glade of bluebells is beautiful and your gal Maddy is looking pretty good for her age. She looks like she's smiling for your camera in the top right photo.

How magical and beautiful. We used to have a meadow near us that had such wonderful Bluebells and I am not sure what happened, but we never see them any more~

Dear Ruby - How beautiful the luminous fresh verdure is! I feel balmy breeze in the green mingled with Bluebells and Pink purslane Maddy always makes me smile. Looks like very young at heart. Regarding your comment, Osaka food is so specially delicious. Okonomiyaki, takoyaki…., make my mouth water.

Every dog we've ever had loved to roll in the grass, especially if there was something quite stinky there.

Loving Maddy, she has quite a pedigree. Sad when they have health issues, it can be very upsetting, but she looks very happy in those photos :)

I like the way the jackdaw is rather coyly (unusual for jackdaws) camouflaged in the tree. You've clearly had some great weather! And there is so much green. Gorgeous photos, good to see Maddy enjoying herself.
