What a fabulous post.
Seeing these rivers is making me very nostalgic for the highlands: so many happy memories and these days little chance of renewing the acquaintance.

Dear Ruby - The pond and river reflect green hue of spring – 1st and 3rd image. I almost can hear the rustling sound and soft whispering of the streams, “Spring is come.”

The flowing water is so beautiful, and life-giving. I would love to be floating down any of these rivers. Some of my ancestors may have known some of these rivers, I'm surprised to see a plant at Loch Eam that looks a lot like the Fireweed in my yard.

Oh Ruby, all these wonderful water photos are so great!!! I love flowing water so much...also stormy weather and the wildness of the sea...I can't explain why, but I love it really, really much!
The Mermaid sketch by J.W. Waterhouse is very beautiful, too!!!
