My daughter used to have a copy of that book when she was little. What fun to see those illustrations again! A very Merry Christmas to you too!

Happy Christmas to you Ruby. Enjoy the season and here are very best wishes for a peaceful New Year.
Lovely collection of book, card, and other Christmas items. The dog looks nice in Santa Clause clothes. I’m excited to imagine how my three-year-old granddaughter would be pleased when she gets awake on the Christmas Day. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you, ruby!

The first Santa looks like he's had a wee drink or two!

A Happy Christmas to you too. Those old illustrated books are so wonderful to watch. I see they called Santa "St. Nicolas", like our Sint Nicolaas or Sinterklaas as we name him.
I have the very SAME book!!! And I treasure the 'old time' images within.
Your doggie is just too cute in its Santa suit!
I enjoyed seeing the old illustrations of that famous poem!

I would love to find a book like that at the thrift store. Just awesome Ruby. Woke early so I can plan my day of things to do. Just popped in to check my email and hopped over to my blog and seen your very nice comment. Time now to plan day. Take care and God Bless You.
Great images particularly of Maddy in her santa coat! As I thought there might be, there was a sprinkling of snow on the hills when I got back. Thanks so much for a lovely solstice
