A Scottish Castle

Walking in beautiful countryside in North Central Scotland,

Poppy,in hunting mode, leads the way.

The castle we see here was rebuilt around 1900 after a fire damaged all but a small part of the
 original early sixteenth century building.

Surrounded by mature trees and beautiful park lands.

The first photos and the last one were taken from the hill on top left of this picture.

These juveniles are very young, probably from a late brood.

Thank you for visiting.

What a dreamy field! Poppy looks quite different from the one with a ribbon on the head in the right bar:) The place ignites his hunting spirit!
Happy days, Ruby.

Beautiful pictures of your walk and I love to see Poppy enjoying your walk. The castle is situated so nice between the green. Scotland is such a pretty country.

Beautiful pictures!
Such a huge, open, expansive landscape.
Poppy certainly seems to have enjoyed the walk!

This post is a fantasy. The puppy became one with wind and led us to the fascinating castle and guided us around the area. I’m particular about reflection shots as you might know. Surrounding green looks penetrating into the water in No. 16.

You had a lovely time with poppy in the wonderful scenery. The castle or hill can look over in the distance or the poppy's hunting mood relax me.
Have a nice summer!

Amicalement.
