Peaceful indeed! This kind of looks like our sunrise skies these days...breathtaking, really. A beautiful creation to kick off the weekend...and inspire me to get going on that painting ;) Thank you, dear Ruby, for your visit...always a joy! xoxo, - Irina
Cosmos, interesting that you say this, because a friend has just sent me photos of water rippling on the surface of a loch in the area shown in my previous post. She said the painting reminded her of the water!
Rippling water has beautiful reflections of a sun set. How peaceful and tranquil!! But when I think they are reflections of a sun rise, how hopeful and fresh! Your art is a stunning depiction of the home of your soul. Have a great week. keiko
Hi,Ruby. Beautiful combination of colors with soft pink, blue and yellow! I like that beautiful arts are always a part of my every day life. I had a summer dress I sew by myself. The color of the dress was very similar to this paint. I liked to go out with the dress and my green parasol,I still have it, in the sun. Can you imagine? Tomoko
Thank you Ruby. I forgot to say that the parasol is a handmade one by a skilled craftsman in Osaka Japan. I am hoping that I am going to post my parasol and the craftsman in time. Have a good week!
I saw the same color that are painted in your piece at the sky and river in France rately in the early morning. Peace morning dawned at the town with some beautiful cathedrals. Have a lovely week!

That is a good combination of shape and colour. Peace indeed.
It looks like Scots landscape. Lochs, glens, rivers, thistles...are filled with peaceful flows along with yellow streamlines.

And I was going to say that I recognize those colors from your previous post... just a gorgeous palate.
I like your sticks of color, too!
