Illustration from a family fairy story book (circa 1910) Snowdrop and the Seven Dwarfs A fairy tale written in 19th century Germany by the Brothers Grimm. The original heroine Snowdrop later became Snow White in the Disney film Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. I've always imagined these flowers to be daisies and forget-me-nots. This morning I set out to photograph some daisies to accompany the illustration. |
