How utterly beautiful. What stories that cottage could tell!

I adore hawthorn blossom, we have many hawthorn trees in the lanes surrounding our house and also in our garden, sadly they have finished flowering here in Normandy for another year. Now we have elderflowers to brighten our days and perhaps to add flavour to our gin & tonics this summer too?
Thanks for sharing with us at Mosaic Monday this week.

Hello,Rubby,
Your hawthorn blossoms beautifully get sunlight and shinning in the blue sky!
The ruined old farm cottage is also lovely. I find its beauty.
I hope you have a wonderful new week!

Beautiful blossoms! And wonderful in contrast to the decrepit but still beautiful cottage ruins . How lovely to come across that ruin in your explorations.

I actually do not know what a hawthorn is, although of course i've read it. But that is indeed lovely, sad it is not a tropical plant.

Gorgeous spring blossoms, I've gotten so behind on my spring flower photos. That quaint old cottage is very cool.

Glorious Hawthorn trees in bloom! They look enjoy May in the full light. I like the old barn which evokes nostalgia for the old time.

“How sweetly bloom’d the gay green birk!
How rich the hawthorn’s blossom!
As underneath their fragrant shade,
I clasp’d her to my bosom!”

Spring has been amazing this year and the blossom has been more abundant than usual. Your photos of the Hawthorn are incredible, so pretty and great to see you are still blogging. I have been away far too long from blog land.

Love the hawthorn and the romantic cottage - quite the fixer upper!

The hawthorn seems to be particularly abundant this year, as is the gorse and whin. Good to see a crow or two putting in an appearance!
