Remarkable Trees - Part 1

Louise and I are off time travelling again  -
and are on our way to visit trees on a country estate.
We enter by an avenue lined with magnificent lime trees planted in 1824.

Beautiful ethereal cloud formations .....

Mature lime tree .....

More beautiful clouds .....

Lime fruits .....

Dried flowers still cling to the stems.

Lime (Linden) blossom honey has been popular for thousands of years,it has a unique
flavour and is said to have specific medicinal properties ....

Black face sheep graze in fields behind the trees .....

The William Adam house, built in the early 1700s is surrounded by landscaped park lands .....

To be continued .....

Thank you for visiting

The lime trees are a stunning, scenic rich green and wonderful wispy cloud patterns in the skies.

You certainly caught those interesting and lovely cloud formations. I have noticed quite a few startling ones recently, when we've had good weather. Not today, when it's back to rain.

Hi! Nice trip and nice sky and lime tree photos! My birthday is coming soon. Today my son came our home. He bought some kind of presents. Among them ,there was a lime tree flower honey bottle. It's a good coincidence.

I do know i've commented here before, but came back to it from another place this time -- and just noticed about the lime/linden tree. Really cool that it is both so beautiful and has healthful properties!

Hello, again, Ruby! The first image is so inviting, makes me feel anticipation and the sense of moving forward. I like the flowing wispy clouds in the blue sky. I like your way of display; blue and green alternately and come together in the end.
