January Winds

I'm watching the wind blow surface water back out to sea before it reaches the shore,
at least that's how it appears. It's not as cold as it looks, at 10c degrees the wind feels almost warm.

Seaweed, partly embedded in the sand, rattles and cracks like prayer flags in the wind.

Waiting in the car  -   all steamed up!

Thank you for visiting

It does look as if the wind is blowing the waves back. Hope it is not too windy where you are. The seaweed on the sand looks extraordinarily beautiful and the first photograph of sand and seaweed reminds me a bit of some of your fabric wall hangings! As if reality has copied art...

Looks so cold. I almost feel chilly window here in my warm room,Ruby.
Here in my city snow seldom come,it is because I think our place is large basin. Just one of the reasons.I would like to see snow though.

I love a Terrier face!
The water over your way looks very cold - the colour, perhaps, and the grey sky. Brrr

Hello Ruby,
When I saw the header picture, I felt somehow nostalgic and happy it's still there!
Spending time watching the sea water forming into various patterns with wind must be interesting.
I'd like my wall to be painted like the shot with seaweed in the sand.

Hello Forest Dream Weaver,
thank you that you paid a visit to my blog and left a comment.
I think that also beautiful pictures of the beach and the waves on the water. the seaweed gives a nice green color to the gray water. The last photo of your dog in the car with the misting is truly a beautiful picture.
Greetings, Helma

I love to watch wave action -- my favorite form of meditation. That seawood has made a very artistic picture on the sand.
