I love to comb the beaches when I am at home in Newfoundland (Canada)...an island in the Atlantic and the finds are always amazing. Last summer we found not one, but two notes in bottles-one from Ireland and one from another part of Newfoundland. But of course, the logs, skeletons, shells etc. are incredible. Thanks for sharing your finds.

ReplyDeleteThe Pilgrimage painting is lovely, and the background looks enticing! The log on the beach is extraordinary. When I looked at the first image I was trying to work out what I was seeing. It’s a very special feeling that, because it’s rare, for me anyway, I feel suspended in a delicious space a bit like waking up and not knowing where you are, I try to prolong it because it’s like a pure consciousness that’s fallen between the cracks of aligned or attached awareness. You see but you cannot place what you see. At first I thought I was looking down on a slope of snow, a landscape criss-crossed by many footprints. It was only when I saw the sand at the top edge I realised it was something on a beach. Gorgeous images and congratulations for such creative pictures.
