Such a wonderful painting, I had never seen it before, quite special. Your autumn photographs are beautiful too. Lovely glimpses of the ocean. You live near the ocean/sea and dream of ships and last night i dreamed of a bear ;-)

Dear Ruby - What a fascinating painting! The beautiful ship, reflections, gulls, and the spirit of exploring, etc. The North Sea seems to have such a power to make you inspire to be imaginative. I’ll become so, too. Your second photo shows it. The fall colors are simply beautiful.

That's some painting by Roerich. I wonder if he painted from his dreams, it has that kind of evocative feeling to it.

ReplyDeleteThe painting by Nicholas is great. I like the bird circulating around the boat. The ocean travel must have been a great challenge, exploring and a dream. Our leaves are finally changing to red and yellow. Have a good day!
