ReplyDeleteThe artistic rendition of the dandelion is just beautiful. The real ones too really are quite lovely. It helps if you can think of them as wildflowers and not weeds. All your pictures are wonderful; it looks like a happy spring!

Hi,Ruby
ReplyDeleteThose photos of your dandelion are beautifully taken by your lens. They are shining in the light. The pain with beads and stitching is wonderful!! Have a good weekend.
Love your creativity with the dandelion. I hope you have a lovely weekend
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shots!!! Interesting abstract too!!! Thanks for visiting at Photosmusings.com!!!
ReplyDeleteI spied a cat drinking out of the birdbath in the middle of the night. Good eye to spy the cloud with a wing. The wild primrose is a lovely plant, flowers + textured leaves. The dandelion is a beauty, too, and I love your inspired depiction of it.
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty woodland Primrose - much nicer than the new highly coloured ones.
ReplyDeleteThe Dandelion is a much under rated flower - look at the beauty of those delicate petals.
Funnily enough I wanted to do a Dandelion post last week - my garden has been full of them all Summer, but when I went out with my camer I found only one!
We are now into Autumn in New Zealand, so growth has slowed down and the leaves are turning beautiful golden colours.
Happy Sunday
Shane

I see dandelions in my sleep. I'm addicted to pulling them out with a new-to-me tool. I remember, though, that my aunt loved the new leaves of the early spring dandelions in salad too.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed my virtual walk through your beautiful garden as I learned about adding dandelions leaves into my salads. Blessings!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos but my favorite is the yellow dandelion painting with beads ...
ReplyDeleteAnyone who also loves dandelions is a kindred spirit to me. :-) They are an important early pollinator plant in my garden and the leaves are a good source of vitamin C in a salad. I've never thought about eating the flower petals though...
ReplyDeleteThe neighbourhood cats try to sneak in my backyard, after the songbirds on the feeders unfortunately and I've let the dog out many times to send them packing.
beautiful world you share. :) Will soon be mine too I hope. :)

Lovely to see how your study of the dandelion leads to your mixed media piece. And the artwork itself is gorgeous.
