October Days







Painting recently finished  -  130cm x 130cm  -  so far untitled.

It's the energy of the cusp period between Summer and Autumn.

  2. The painting is just gorgeous Ruby! Captures so well the light that both filters through the trees and seems to emanate from them through the leaves particularly the yellow ones. And of course Margaret's photos are breathtaking as ever and it's great that they are being viewed here.

  10. A beautiful park and beautiful shots! Lights and longer shadows and fallen leaves show the changing season. Your painting is so lovely! As Laura says above I like its "dappled light and color of autumn"

  20. What a lovely piece of work, Ruby! I think the photos explain well how you got inspiration to the colors of this painting. I see the expectation of the cheerfully-colored October with the lingering summer. October was so fleeting for me with various things going on and so will be November with my mother-in-law’s departure from this earthly world. Excuse me for not having visited you sooner.
