Watercolour sketches of water energy.
Starting point - the sea - wind and waves - how this energy feels to me,
and how it engages with my senses.

My painting "Peace flowing" (detail) - acrylic on canvas (2010). The painting is long gone but I trust it continues to eminate peaceful energy in its present home. |

Love the water energy water colors - my favorite is #3 - only because of the colors used. All of them are lovely.

ReplyDeletelovely exploration of your feelings of water.
ReplyDeleteEvocative paintings, they make me feel energized and happy.
ReplyDeletePeace flowing is my favourite!
ReplyDeleteWonderful colours and movement. I can just imagine the fun you had with your brushes and paints while creating these. The swans' beauty is breathtaking.
ReplyDeleteI adore the colors in the third and fourth one ... in fact, I have a scarf that it is almost the mirror image of the third painting!
ReplyDeleteI love the snergy in your “ Peace Flowing”.. the colours.>.It contrasts beautifully with the swans.
ReplyDeleteI would happily hang any one of those beautiful works on my wall! I am sure the new owner of 'Peace Flowing' loves seeing it every day.
ReplyDeleteThe first feels very musical to me, the second, sensuous, like poses or reposes of persons, suggestions of gestures, without the actual bodies being there. The third, lovely water colours, especially with a heart of purple. And your ‘peace flowing’ goes so well with the birds on the water that perhaps it is the essence of light and movement of birds on water.

Dear Ruby – I’m back to blogging after a long break. What lovely images of dancing wind and waves! My favorites are the third, the fourth, and the last “Peace flowing.” Stay warm and take care.
