Beautiful shots of the crow!
ReplyDeleteThe crows look very picturesque in the framework of branches. I hadn't heard the sticky willie name for cleavers, mine are not that advanced so I need to go pick some to dry for tea. The larch cone looks cute with all the spikes of leaves. So much nice Spring green!
ReplyDeleteLovely and leafy! I like the shots of the crow.
ReplyDeleteWonderful shots of the crows. And the wildflowers are beautiful. Thanks for linking up and sharing your post, have a happy weekend!
ReplyDeleteCrows are very special, don't you think? Mystical and sinister and interesting. I love watching them and wondering about their ways and 'thinking'!
ReplyDeleteThe crows are very handsome birds. I love all your flowers. We've had a cold week and spring is taking a pause. Enjoy your weekend, Ruby!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos !
ReplyDeleteAwesome nature photography ~ Love the crows juxtaposed with the tree branches and the Sticky Willie!
ReplyDeleteHappy Weekend,

ReplyDeleteJoy of spring is shining through all of your beautiful photos. Thank you for sharing them.
ReplyDeleteFantastic shots of bird and flowers.
ReplyDeleteLovely shots of your woods : )
ReplyDeleteGreat crow shots! Our dog used to think it his responsibility to keep crows out of our air space. Lol
ReplyDeleteFlora and fauna and drama in your parts! The black crow is a serious observer among all the sweet and charming new life around it.
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely week.

Although not a nice description for carrion crows, they are a much needed part of nature.
ReplyDeleteSticky willy...I had never heard of this until I tried to identify something I pulled out in my garden bed several years back. The vine swung up and stuck to the side of my face. I had the red, skin burned outline of 5 petals there for a couple of weeks. :-)
Thanks for linking to Mosaic Monday.
A wonderful trip through your woodland...
ReplyDeleteThe crows are amazing birds. I have seen them in France but we don't have them in New Zealand.
ReplyDeleteOur version is the Magpie and they can be particularly vicious when protecting their nest - they divebomb and peck peoples heads.....
Oh that luscious green that only Spring can produce - enjoy it before it fades!
Nature is encredible, the older I get the more I appreciate it!

We have a lot of really big crows or ravens here in Florida. They are loud, aren't they? I love seeing everything green up in Spring colors! Enjoy your week! Hugs!

ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful photos of all that green!
ReplyDeleteyou also have larch, fun.
ReplyDeleteenjoyed seeing all of your spring flowers.
Hi,Ruby. Very beautiful collection of spring time photos. Your mosaic photo is very cool. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely variety of green and other colors. Spring is so pretty!
ReplyDeleteLots of healthy green growth budding out in your corner of the world! Love those shining black crow eyes--they look so intelligent.
ReplyDeleteWhat charming crows! Especially the one in the first photo has such gentle eyes and looks composed and relaxed, perhaps because of the shooting of the new leaves? I like all the nature you captured, Ruby. Have happy spring ahead.

Beautiful spring blooms and birds in this post and the later one....wonderful to see a swan nesting. I am glad I came back to your blog and looked at that post again!
