Misty Sea

We have had quite a lot of mist in the Firth of Forth recently.

Sometimes blue and calm .................

and sometimes grey, wild  and noisy ...............

I find this grey weather exhilarating, a feeling of being at one with the elements.

It's easy to visualize ships from times past sailing by................

Spanish galleons in Scottish waters by Andrew Spratt.

Treasure!

Maddy investigates  -  I love the position of the black dog, top right!

  27. The grey larger waves look inviting. Not for a dip but just to wander along and listen to the sound of them as they hit the shore.

  33. Dear Ruby - I know from experiences that while hearing sound of waves and watching tides, we become one with nature and something happens on our imagination. You showed it how to us visually. I like to be by the shore, no matter how the weather expect typhoon.
